Keeping it real simple with a quick update, this album is pretty much awesome, let’s just leave it at that. Alright, I’ll expand a tiny bit.

Generation Hardstyle Volume 1 was one of the first hardstyle albums I had the pleasure of listening to, featuring some of the “core” artists of the time for the genre. Artists such as Southstylerz, The Prophet, A-Lusion and even the king of terrible music hardstyle music, Marc Acardipane. Though these artists might still be “in“, I feel they’ve progressed away from the “feel” the tracks this album contains.

One or two of the tracks in the album aren’t exactly hardstyle, but they have a couple of the elements that make up a neat sounding hardstyle song. Namely, To My Twinsoul - Silverblue (An awesome track nonetheless).

This album contains a number of golden oldies, clangers, and numerous memorable tracks to keep you going for a while.
