I say download first and then buy ;) I see nothing wrong in that and that’s the way I do it myself. Yes, partly because I don’t have the money to spend to stuff like music (yet!) but I do buy music when possible. I buy mostly vinyls though, for DJ’ing purposes but there’s definitely a few CD’s that are a must buy :)

Mutilate will be one of the first things I will buy when I get some money to throw at Hardcore again and I wholeheartedly thank the internet for first of all introducing me to this genre and giving me the opportunity to listen to the music as much as I want before buying it.

And on to the topic a little bit, Mutilate is great. A few tracks which I don’t really care for that much but mostly good stuff.

Think about all the sets you listen to (I’m assuming a true hardstyle fan would be checkin’ out some bangin sets at all the Q events and what not); Would you rather listen to a set from, let’s say, The Prophet, recorded in the studio with great quality, or would you rather listen to a set that you know thousands of fellow clubbers tripped to, cried to, or even just got an extremely euphoric feeling and their entire body ridden with goosebumps as he hits that filter on a huge ass break down.. You hear the kick, and you hear the screams.

You can’t better than that man!

However, I can agree that if it’s a shitty recording that’s pretty lame. Shit can be recorded in studio quality from a mixer if you have the right equipment. I just wanted to bitch for a moment - Thanks! Love the site!
