Site News: 12th April
The jist is, pretty much, is that our host (Dreamhost) licks gigantic balls. The site goes down relatively often, and I’m getting numerous complaints about people not being able to access to site at all.
The site is using roughly 600GB a month, which I can’t actually sustain. Keby and I don’t actually get anything out of the site, and we’re just doing this to help spread awareness of the best genres of music in the world.
Once again, I’m enforcing that the primary goal of this site is to eventually build a community around EDM (preferably the harder styles ;) ), and to encourage people to come to the site, I deduced that providing free downloads was the best way to bring people here. It’s working, clearly, as the site is growing quite significantly over the last month or so, but because of this, it’s going to cost me too much to run the site.
So, I’ve thought it over and the conclusion I came to was to base the entire site around (decent :P) forums, and rather than providing direct links to files hosted on my own server, hosting them on Rapidshare.
You’re probably not gunna be too happy about it, and neither am I, but it’s what I have to do to keep the site going..

Please… Not rapidshare I beg you.. Speedyshare, 4Shared, filedeposit whatever.. But not Rapidshare (nor Megaupload).. It’s restricted in most public places
Stuff lasts the longest on Rapidshare.. I don’t run the risk of it being deleted for inactivity.
this really sucks balls..i agree rapidshare has a limit 4 users 2 download and then u have 2 start paying if not mistaken..ive already reached my limit on it…and its not like i can download al de songs now from direct links coz i live in south africa and my internets fucking capped 2 3gig a month!!!
I think it sucks too, but unfortunately this is the only solution I can come up with at the moment..
I’m open to suggestions.
i dnt know how this whole server and host thing work and what it takes 2 set up a site like this one but maybe if u could keep this site only for hardstyle and hardcore and then move all the other music like electro to another site…or maybe jus delete al that music since this site is here 4 hardstyle isnt it?
dono if it will help coz dnt understand dis kinda shit but jus a thought….
99% of the music on here is hardstyle and hardcore already.. :/
